Growing up in India, snacks in our home were never from packets — they were made fresh, using simple ingredients, real flavors, and recipes passed down through generations.

When I moved to the United States, I noticed something very different. The shelves were full of options, but many were heavily processed and far from the flavors I grew up loving. Life here moves fast — people want convenience, but they also want clean, flavorful food.

As a mom, that realization became even more important. I found myself reading every label, searching for something I could truly trust for my family — and that’s when I saw the gap.

That’s when PurnaMagic was born.

I bring together recipes from my grandmother and my mom — authentic recipes — and reimagine them, because truly authentic flavors can sometimes be intense and not always easy to adapt to modern taste preferences. Inspired by my kids, I began refining these generational flavors to make them more approachable, without losing their authenticity.

I took traditional spice blends and brought them into everyday snacking — making them more accessible, just the way my mom created simple, flavorful snacks at home.

This journey wasn’t perfectly planned — it was a leap of faith into the CPG world. From product development to packaging to retail, everything was new and challenging. Every step came with both confidence and doubt — but through it all, my family has been my anchor.

The name Purna comes from the Sanskrit word meaning “complete” — reflecting our belief that great snacking should feel whole, bringing together flavor, nourishment, and joy, and creating a little magic in every bite.

Today, PurnaMagic reflects that journey — rooted in tradition, crafted for today, and made with care to bring real flavor into everyday life.
